Anatomy of a Scandal. The title interested me, as I am a mystery lover. I have read other books by this author, Sarah Vaughn, and was very interested to preview her newest book, as I enjoy her writing. This book grabbed me from the first page. The story is set up in these first few pages and ready to go. This is the story of a family, busy in their life. James and Sophie’s history is mentioned, as is their long relationship. James is a high-ranking government official. They have two young children. The story sets up with a busy day and ends with dinner plans. James comes home later than usual, missing dinner plans. He confesses to a months-long affair and lets Sophie know that it will be newsbreaking. I am interested to read more!
