A smart, well put together, legal thriller that is very timely in today's world. Told in three different voices, Vaughan weaves together a story that is hard to put down. A story of secrets and betrayals in both the past and the present. With an intriguing look into the British legal system and a cast of well fleshed out characters, this is a slow burner of a story with some parts being much more interesting than others, but when they are all woven together, it is a very good read! Thought provoking and timely, this book takes a close look at the lives of the privileged and wether or not they can continue to withstand scandal upon scandal, or if their deeds will one day ultimately catch up with them.
