Vaughn does a solid job of putting you in the place of tension. We've all been there, not wanting to come of stalkerish... even though you just want to make one more call. Trying to figure our why someone comes clean with news... especially if it seems they don't have to. If Vaughn's characters and writing can make you feel this tension so early on with her words. We are in for a wild ride if the rest of the novel keeps this pacing.
