This excerpt is fairly boring. It did not really get interesting until the end when the husband comes home. I didn't really care for the third person POV; it feel disrupted and I think that is why I did not really care for the overall story. Also, how does the overall synopsis fit with what the excerpt was? But I guess that is the point of reading the rest of the book, eh?
