I must say ... just from reading this short excerpt I can tell right away that this is my sort of thriller. Posh British family? Check. High-ranking, philandering husband? Check. Perfect-and-yet-slightly-dim wife? Check. It begins with a certain jaunty promise and I am intrigued.
