The author left you wondering just what kind of marriage did they have. Was the family happy and was Sophie and James happy. The last sentence was a cliff hanger, what is going to break? Is there more then just an affair and how will this effect this family? It left me wanting to keep reading,anxious to see where this was going to take this family and marriage.
