I thought the cover was quite interesting. What is she hiding behind the black curtain? Or what is she looking out at? Or who? Which side is she shielding? I did not read the summary before I read the excerpt, so I was surprised by the cliffhanger of what "story" is going to break. Knowing that a crime is involved, my curiosity is certainly piqued!
