I really enjoyed reading "An Improbable Pairing" by Gary Dickson! It provides fascinating descriptions of the world of the super rich in 1960's Europe including descriptions of haute couture, three star gourmet restaurants, opulent hotel suites and luxury homes from Paris to Switzerland. I really enjoy insights into society and cultures that I am unfamiliar with and this story provides ample opportunity to learn a bit about both aspects. The book is very well written and vastly entertaining. A big "thank you" to the Greenleaf Book Group and Bookish First for awarding me a free copy of "An Improbable Pairing." The true gift lies in discovering yet another gifted author. I will be on the lookout for more books by Gary Dickson!
