I was hoping to enjoy this read

Let me begin by saying this cover is fantastic. I love the colors, the emotion etc. Unfortunately the story fell short for me and I was unable to finish it and it was a DNF. The writing was all over the place, the characters weren't as well written as I had hoped they would be. There were certain parts of the story line I feel could have been focused on more than others that were chosen. I feel that for someone else this may be a great book. But everyone is slightly different in that way and this book fell short for me. I would still consider trying a different book by this author in the future. I feel there is writing ability and I may love the next story. You never know. Thank you for the chance to review.
