The cover model is very Grace Kelly, and it seems the author is caught in a 60s movie time capsule. I did not get "sparks" from the Countess and the young man who is trying too hard to fit in, and this feels like every dialogue I have heard combined into the prose of these pages. Why didn't the character go to the store on the ship and purchase a tuxedo? Afterall Leonardo Di Caprio managed to find one in Titanic. I am slightly underwhelmed, but maybe the story gets better.
