American Homemaker was the first book by this author that i have read. In my opinion, this book was just okay. It wasn't the best book that I have ever read, nor was it the worst book that I have ever read. There were parts of the story that I found interesting and compelling, and there were other parts that I felt fell flat and got too "clunky." The story moves fast at times, and at others, seems to stall a bit. Although I know this is a work of fiction, there were some parts of the story that I just found a bit too unrealistic and unlikely. I know that is to be expected with fiction, but I also like it to have a degree of probability, and I found it a little too hard to believe at times. You should give this one a try though, you may like it.
