I will admit that this book is not my cup of tea. Like all books on this site, I try to give them a chance. This one was about a mortician and I have never read a book about one I figured that it would at least be interesting. However, I did not get very far in this one. The character of Megan, two pages into the book goes on a paragraph long tirade of slut shaming the main character Kim for wearing a Chanel dress and Louboutin heels. This language is extremely toxic, especially when at the end of the paragraph Megan states that Kim "had the confidence of a self-made women" and that she didn't like it. That is not a sound excuse to hate someone. I hope that this is just a minor character flaw and by the end of the book her character arc will lead her to be a more supportive, less shallow person.
