"Kim Loomis had the confidence of the self-made woman, and Megan Hawkins didn’t like it." I'm not sure if I will like this one. It seems very "girl hate," women pushing each other down rather than lifting each other up, full of that kind of girl-on-girl drama that I don't enjoy. The "murder for hire" bit isn't enough for me to get past it.
