The main character's professions are definitely not the typical heroine. However, I'm not quite sure this is for me, though I do enjoy a good thriller.
Some things in the sample seemed a bit far-fetched, and I'm not sure that I really care for Meghan. I need to at least love-to-hate a main character when I'm reading. The writing, overall, seems okay.
