The high end shoe sitting in a pool of blood on the cover draws you to the story, I was intrigued by the idea of a female mortician being the main character in a novel. I look forward to finding out about the contract killer and how she is developed. I loved the snarkiness that came through in the first chapter. Looking forward to the release of this book.
