I tried, I really really tried to read this book and to like it. I did succeed in reading about 30% of the book but I just couldn't do it anymore.
This is the second book in a series, maybe if I had read the first one I could have gotten into it more. But the whole time I struggled to understand what was going on. When I thought I understood, I found myself confused again.
From what I gathered, this is a legal thriller. It is set in a fictional world where angels live among humans. There is a trial being set for fallen angels to determine if they deserve forgiveness. There is a lot of biblical Scripture in this book as well. If you are not well versed on the Bible, I would imagine you would struggle with this.
Overall this book just isn't for me. I am sure their are a lot of people that will love this book. The writing is not bad at all, I just couldn't get into the story.
