I was intrigued to find out that this legal thriller had some paranormal elements in it - the main character has some minor psychic abilities. The main character is well-written, and the chapters intrigued me, especially the prologue. However, the story seems to rely on a good amount of knowledge about the first book, which I've not read, and I didn't quite understand some of the incidents because they were not very clearly explained - the first chapter for example.
