I do want to say how I appreciate the thought, effort, and research that goes into writing these novels, especially considering the author is a criminal defense attorney himself. And while again this was a pretty short first look, only showing the first 18 pages or so, you can really get a feel of the courtroom you're walking into. If I was to read this book, I would want to pick up the previous one in the series first, so I can really get a feel for the main character instead of having things already established because of past events. I hope those that do pick up this installment enjoy it for what it is.
