To start, I find the spots on the pages to be distracting. Hopefully this is not planned for the final release. Second, I think that the list of characters should be at the end of the book as an addendum rather than before you even start the story. Third, I like the cover. The Prologue draws you in with a creepy kind of vibe. Then the story starts and drops more clues that things are not as they seem. I am torn about the potential religious aspects (as mentioned in the summary) since that would not be a book I would like but I am interested enough to want to try this one.
