The cover of this one freaks me out a little. I don't think I'm the biggest fan of smirking gargoyles. This story definitely sounds interesting. It's kind of horror mixed with a legal thriller. The synopsis caught my attention. The First Look was definitely a thing. Since this is Book Two, and I've not read Book One, I don't know when I would read this.
