In Almost Mortal, I thoroughly enjoyed Chris Leibig's ability to craft a truly fresh plot, give the reader a window into the world of criminal defense, and without being heavy-handed, fill the book with insights into the complexity of human nature. Almost Damned promises more of the same, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of what promises to be a multi-layered, fascinating page turner.
