After having read the first book in the series, I was excited when the sequel came out. Chris Leibig has a smooth and polished style yet just enough roughness to remind one of a modern take on the old noir style. The book grabs you right from the onset and doesn't let you go. The characters have been developed and have incredible nuance and depth-simply a great book.
