This was a cyclone of terror. Based off of a true story of a disturbed and scorned lover causing so much hurt to so many people, mostly surrounding her on-and-off boyfriend.
I am utterly disgusted in the tangled web Liz Goylar put out on Cari's family. Cari was a women her on-and-off boyfriend, Dave, was in love with until she disappeared.
She had the nerve to make this family believe Cari was still alive and would message the family and Cari's 15 yr old son.
She also turn "Cari" into a cyberstalker who terrorized women Dave dated (by sending threatening messages that would target the women and her kids, including pictures of them).
Honestly, reading this alone was STRESSFUL and would recommend watching snippets of Snapped that featured the case along with it. Personally, it is emotionally exhausting reading (during this time) I had to skip some chapters and read the trial chapters for closure.
