I love true crime stories, love to see the bad guy (or girl, in this case) get their comeuppance. A Tangled Web indeed was spun by the perpetrator in this case, and the threads were beautifully pulled apart and respun into a mesmerizing tale by Leslie Rule.
It's not just a great read, it's also a cautionary tale about the dangers of the internet, and how easily trust can be gained by those who don't deserve it.
While I would have liked more information about the villain's early life - why would she DO this? - the explanation for why that was not available was offered and understood.
Well written, easily readable, I devoured it in a few days. I loved her mom's books and I expect I'll be looking for more of hers as well.
