I wish I had been able to review this sooner but it just took me longer to get through the book. At first I was a little skeptical, but once I started to get into it I hated to put it down. This is one of those books that really shows how manipulative people can be, and how people who are close to them can be blinded by their belief in them. This whole book made me think about how crazy life can be, and how sick some people really are. Leslie rule is a very talented writer and for this being her first true crime novel I believe she did an outstanding job with it. I loved the quote that was used in the very beginning written by sir Walter Scott "oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive"
