I am a true crime junkie and had never heard of this story. I have heard of Leslie Rule and her mother, Ann, but I didn't know some of the backstory that she included at the beginning. As someone who met her husband through online dating, I remember trying to be cautious on websites when searching for someone to talk to. I always went to a public place for a meeting and let friends know where I was going and who I was with. (Or at least, all the info I had about the guy at the time). Reading about Dave and Liz was interesting as the roles seem reversed from what you typically see. (This time, a controlling woman with a man who wants more freedom in the "relationship"). I'm interested to see what happens in this story!
