I love true crime. Can’t get enough of it. I had never heard of this case before (this is nonfiction right?) so I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading. Dating apps and the internet seem like a blessing for communication but there are downsides to being able to hide behind a screen which we find out in this book it seems. I appreciated the fact that we got to know the author of this book through her personable prologue as it made me want to believe everything she was saying as I felt connected to her.
