The Crime Occured in the Area Where I Live

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I live in the area where this crime took place! I don't read true crime books so I would never have picked this one up if it hadn't been featured on Bookish First. Since I don't usually read in this genre, I'm not familiar with the usual writing style. A Tangled Web seems a bit amateur with excessive use of exclamation points, etc., but perhaps that's common in true crime. Eager to read more of this 'local' story.
