Having been a fan of the late Ann Rule (d. 2015), and seeing this was written by her daughter. I HAD to have this book.

Leslie writes in the same tradition as her mother does. This is one of those “true-crime” stories so it isn’t going to be fictional. As I have never heard of this case, I looked it up online. And, strange it is! The title is extremely appropriate it.

The cover itself is as mysterious as the case.

What strikes me is in her mother’s books (the three I have): “The Stranger Beside Me”; “If You Really Loved Me”, and “And, Never Let Her Go” – these were NOTORIOUS murders that happened prior to the internet.

I honestly cannot wait to get this one.
