Being a true crime fan, as well as a huge fan of Ann Rule, I was excited to read this book written by her daughter, Leslie. She did not disappoint.
When I think of true crime cases involving any type of domestic relationship, I think of the many, many men who have killed their spouses, partners, or someone that they perceived as a threat to their relationships. However, there are also many women, though we don’t hear of those near as often. With internet dating sites, it is hard to know who the person on the other side of the screen truly is, what they are capable of, and whether or not they are trustworthy, sane individuals.
This type of book, the books that expose monsters and show us warning signs, give us that reality check that we all need. We get to comfortable in our own little worlds and tend to take our privacy, as well as our safety and security, for granted.
