First, it's impossible to ignore that forward-Leslie Rule is the daughter of the true crime queen, Ann Rule. Her path to writing her own book is very interesting. The case she chose to write is also fascinating. She picked a lesser known case that is atypical: its a female killer. While there are plenty of examples of female killers throughout history, they are certainly the exception. Overall, Rule seems to be following brilliantly in her mother's footsteps and I can't wait to read more!
