Fans of Netflix documentaries may like this book

I've read another book by this author and wasn't a fan of the dry, simplistic writing style. It probably translates well in a Netflix script, but not so much in a book. There's a lot of detail given in the background of the major players, and an interesting prologue that presents the author in a reliable light. This isn't a story I've heard before, and I'd read this book if someone gave it to me.
