Always skeptical when the author name is larger than title

At first glance this sounds like a great story, but I am always, ALWAYS skeptical when the cover designer and publisher seem to be using the author's name and not the title of the story to sell a book. In my experience books whose cover features the author name MORE than the story, means it isn't that great of a story.
