This book was absolutely fantastic! It brought up a ton of issues that a lot of people of color are having to deal with right now! I really loved how the author was able to make it clear in a fiction novel. I have no idea how it feels to be a person of color. I have never experienced racism and I have never had any of my family members be affected by this. It was insanely well written and so amazing at just explaining things that I otherwise would never understand.
I loved how it was about a secret agent going under cover and reporting about her own people. (I don’t mean this in a racist way, but by her people, I am referring to black people). I also loved how the main character at first didn’t agree with the group of BLM. As a black character to stand up against them? And to make reports to her boss about a group with inside information? It’s absolutely crazy!!
