Yolanda Vance has done everything she thought was right since her childhood. When her mother gave up on her dreams and accepted being stuck in poverty, Yolanda made sure she got top grades and a scholarship to boarding school. When others conspired to make her fail, she rose above, depending only on her intelligence, grit and determination to succeed. As an attorney for the FBI, she has a healthy respect for the law, and has no problem being pulled from her current position to infiltrate what the FBI tells her could be a terrorist operation. But when she goes undercover, she discovers that there is a big difference between the law, and how the law is enforced.
This was a great read, very eye-opening and fast paced. The author has written the character in a fashion that is both likeable and easily identifiable. The mystery of the story was cleverly written as well!
