This First Look really grabbed me, from the bright, bold, and eye-catching cover to the timely plot, I was reeled in right away. I’ll admit in 2020 that I’m often having trouble focusing on fiction while our real world is so tumultuous— that made reading this strangely soothing. There’s a strong sense of justice to come that I can’t help but want to read more of. I’m certainly captured by the story, but I’m staying for the justice to be served.
