The book has a great hook and brings you right into Yolanda's world. You can tell from just the first few pages that she's tough and sharp, and I look forward to continuing to learn more about how she battles with her integrity. The storyline is interesting and I feel for Yolanda, who has just chosen a potentially more fulfilling career path but has taken a significant pay cut. I was sad the First Impression ended and want to keep reading! The only thing I disliked was the length of the newspaper article on Holloway, as I felt it went on for a few too many pages. Otherwise, I'm excited to read more.
