Wow. In the first 30 or so pages this books packs in a LOT-- racial identity, racism, white collar crime, strong female protagonist, Millennial career/ financial issues, corporate pollution, undercover investigation-- and yet somehow it all works well together! I'm definitely interested. The cover is okay; at first glance it looks like The Mod Squad c 1969. However, the longer I look at it the more I realize how many elements of the story are woven into the design. It's quite impressive.
