I loved The Poison Season by Mara Rutherford, and I knew it would be hard to beat but A Multitude of Dreams came close. I love Mara's writing and her abilility to seamlessly weave a story. The story was unique and well paced. World building and change in points of view were executed well. Over description is a pet peeve of mine so I'm glad this book gave just enough information to move the story along. Although character development was thorough, I struggled to connect with or feel sympathy for the main character or her sisters. I love the cover, but feel a more appropriate title could have been used. Overall, A Multitude of Dreams earned 4 stars from me which is still a near impossible feat. I plan to follow this author and read her other work.
