Not for me
The concept seemed whimsical and unique but I do not think this is a book I would read. The opening was festered with a redundancy of metaphors and personification that tipped on the border of purple prose but the writing changed a few paragraphs in once dialogue began to happen. In that dialogue was over use of "says" which was annoying. The story seemed to be more tell than show but I can see it's potential and the aspect of intrigue to other readers; it's just not for me.
