Romeo meets Robt-eo, meets the lovely new world that Adrianne Finlay has dreamed up. Star crossed doesn't begin to describe the love story in this novel, and while it is a central theme I absolutely LOVED that it wasn't the only plot line. Written simply, which is a good thing when it comes to Sci-Fi, at least for me anyway, this YA novel hits home when discussing finding identity, love, understanding how society works, finding your place, Finlay does a great job of weaving big topics in and out of this delightful novel. Also, the cover art is beautiful! Back to the book; I read this one over the course of a few days. I wanted to sit with the story, and parts of it really resonate with you. There's something for everyone, and it is bound to become a classic.
