I wanted to love this book but sadly that didn’t happen.
I liked Jack and Althea 310. Some of their parts were very interesting and some not. The ending was great and their journal entries were a nice addition to the book. I liked reading those.
I wish there was more of Althea and Jack but instead there was a lot of Jack. It seemed like he was constantly fight with his clones and that became aggravating and took away from the story.
The cloning ritual was extremely uncomfortable. When you have children paired up with themselves and they are supposed to have sex.. yea that completely disconnected me from the book. Maybe because I’m a mom.
Overall I loved the idea of this book. If the characters were more likable and the book wasn’t slow starting out I think it had the potential of being a good book.
