On occasion I read a First Look and think, "Wow this book is going to be great." and then when I finally read the book it is not that good. Well, that was not the case with Your One and Only. I read the First Look and could not wait to read more and the whole novel stood up to my expectations. I could not put this book down.
In the future all humans have died off, due to the Slow Plague. At that is left are colonies of clones manipulated over time to be perfect specimens free from disease and negative personality traits, except for Jack. Jack is the sole human used for experiments.
