I've never read anything like this! As I read, I am almost picturing the clones acting like the stepford wives. All identical and unable to be different. When they bring in Jack, you realize that they are so far removed from the way civilization should be, that they recoil in fear and disgust at his differences. As jack gets older, it's apparent that the council is keeping him prisoner to avoid another incident, when Jack just wants to be normal, attend a pairing, etc. I'm very intrigued where this story will go. I think the Athena that has been narrating her part of the story will befriend jack, and maybe even learn how to be different than her sisters. It's also interesting how Jack is physically stronger and more coordinated than the clones. How will that play out later in the book?
