This sample grabbed my attention from the first page! The author has created a unique futuristic world that poses many philosophical issues. The sample provided a lot of background information about the society of the book and a good introduction to the 2 main characters: Althea-310 and Jack. The author was able to already make me emotionally invested in the characters and anxious to see how their story will progress.
