I am extremely impressed with this book! I read the first few chapter and I want to read so much more! I am completely engrossed in this story.

Jack is the only human in a sea of clones. At first it seems like he is the only one who is different. But as the story progresses, it is revealed that not all clones had left their humanity behind. How could a clone, let alone more than one, come out different than his/her counterparts. Isn't a clone literally a copy? So how does the copy change a characteristic?

This story shows a dystopian future and how even when the "perfect" community is created, the strongest emotion of all, love, can show how misguided "perfect" can be. It follows the themes of Lois Lowry's amazing series, starting with The Gift. I think this story will also highlight the negatives and positives of humanity from a race that has tried to erase the "messiness" that makes up being human.

I think the title does an injustice with the story. While the play on words is amusing, I think the author (or publisher?) missed the mark on this one, along with the picture.
