By the end of the first chapter, I was hooked. The book provides a interesting perspective of the future after generations and generations of genetic modification. The parallels to class/race and the division across the clones is relevant to current times. I found that I was drawn to Jack, his frustrations and loneliness as the only human, within the three chapters and I am curious to see how Althea-310 develops further into the story.
