Reading this first look only made me want to read more of the book. From the very first chapter, I was captivated by the author's ideas and the way she was so able to express them. After the introduction, I knew I would only be more excited by the contents of the book, and it did not disappoint. The real stories told and the grounding in truth made it incredibly connective. As a young reader, I was able to understand the message in the book and I hope to continue to apply it to my life. The author's writing style was similar to many other non-fiction or self-help authors, but the writing did not feel contrived or condescending, a difficult balance to maintain with a book like this. Overall, I highly recommend this book.
