I had to stop after every chapter to take a break and really absorb the information. I find myself constantly stopping throughout the day and really trying to implement Murphy's tools to become a better listener.
This book is exactly what our society and generation needs. We all get so caught up in day to day life that we forget how important it is to listen to one and other. To truly hear each other out and connect.
This book is about connection, vulnerability, and "soul-talk". The book goes through the entire process o listening from the biological and physiological makings to the ear, to the way that our brains process the words and how our emotions effect all of it.
