This Book wasn't exactly my cup of tea, if you know what I mean, but I can see how someone somewhere might be interested in reading it. Possibly. The whole book is about listening; how to listen better, how we got to the point of no really listening and hearing one another, etc, etc. The book goes into a lot of detail on these various topics and that's great and all but it's seriously overkill in my eyes. I get it. People are so focused on their cell phones, texting one another, streaming movies rather than going and interacting with people to watch them, etc. But unless someone chooses to actively get away from that lifestyle, A book isn't going to do much for anyone. I am also tired of seeing people interact with their phones rather than having a conversation but it's a conscience decision and not one that is easily broken. This books just seems so pointless to me. Also, repetitive. But to each their own.
